Avison Young strengthens their Executive Management Team

Mehdi Patrick Riahy joining as Principal and Managing Director of AYs German operation

Frankfurt – Avison Young, the global real estate advisor, has appointed Mehdi Patrick Riahy as Principal and Managing Director leading the operations of the Frankfurt team as Head of the Frankfurt Office. In addition, Mr. Riahy will be heading the Investment Team. He joins Avison Young from JLL where he was National Director in the Office Investment – Capital Markets team.

Mehdi Patrick Riahy brings more than 12 years of investment and letting experience in both the retail and office sector, thereof nearly 10 years with JLL. Over the past five years, he has originated and closed more than €4 bn in transactions including various trophy assets in Frankfurt. Before joining JLL in 2011 in their Retail Leasing department, he worked at BNP Paribas Real Estate, where he started his professional career in 2008. In 2015 Mehdi moved to the Office Investment team, where he was promoted in 2018 to National Director level. During his tenure at JLL he was also selected to participate in the very first edition of the firms’ young leadership development program. Mehdi Patrick Riahy holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt and achieved his MBA in 2014 at the “Akademie der Hochschule Biberach”.
