Oliver Herrmann started his career in 1992 as a trained real estate professional at a Hamburg-based real estate advisory firm and joined the former Collier Apollo in 1996 as a letting agent in the Hamburg market.
In 1998, Oliver joined BNP Paribas Real Estate as a letting agent where he worked for 11 years before switching to the transaction team in 2005. In 2007, he became team leader of the Hamburg investment team, furthermore representing the German team as a member of the international BNP investment team.
In 2011 Oliver started at DTZ Zadelhoff Tie Leung and rebuilt the DTZ Investment activities in Hamburg with transactions in the northern region as well as in Berlin and especially in Hanover, Lower Saxony, where he represented the vendors in single transactions with Canadian investors.
In August 2015 – shortly after the liquidation of the German DTZ operations – Oliver has joined Avison Young as Head of Investment in Hamburg to enlarge Avison Young´s investment activities and represent the firm to build up a successful investment team in one of Germany´s most important real estate markets.
